This page covers the Esectra website. Data processing for a deployment of the platform is defined in the contract for that deployment.

This website

This page exists to describe Esectra and to let you start a conversation with us. It does not run advertising trackers, and it does not ask you to create an account.

Contact links on this site open your own email client. When you email us, we hold that message and your reply address for as long as we need to answer you and to keep a record of the commercial conversation. You can ask us to delete it by writing to esectra@bliuinteractive.com.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server request logs, which typically include IP address, user agent and requested path. Those logs are used to operate and troubleshoot the site.

The Esectra platform

The platform is a different matter from this website, and it is governed by the agreement signed for your deployment rather than by this page.

In a self-hosted deployment, the platform runs inside infrastructure you control, and customer data stays inside that environment where the architecture allows. In an Esectra Cloud deployment, processing terms, data locations, retention windows and sub-processors are set out in the deployment contract and its data processing terms.

Retention windows for evidence and biometric material are configurable per deployment and are enforced by the platform. Raw material is referenced by decision records rather than copied into them.

Questions

This page describes current practice for the Esectra website. It is not legal advice, and it does not replace the data processing terms attached to a deployment agreement.
